Mick Watson is an artist who lives and works in St. Leonards-on-Sea, UK.

My work explores how meaning is formed through perception, memory, and attention. The work is concerned with how seeing happens and meaning is constructed, where attention and perception are active, unstable negotiations rather than neutral acts.

I’m interested in the space between internal experience and external reality, particularly where memory, absence, and mental imagery fail to align. Concepts such as aphantasia, attention, and embodiment shape both the subject matter and the methods I use.
