Mick Watson is a multidisciplinary artist based in St. Leonards-on-Sea, UK.

I am an artist and creative director who works in advertising and photography. My work is informed by these disciplines and tensions. My background in advertising provides the foundation for the questions I’m interested in: perception, meaning, attention and memory. My work in paint and colour informs the visual language that I use to communicate these questions. As a photographer I am concerned with depth, flatness and planes of understanding.
